Some examples include:
A 4 storey serviced apartment development (13 apartments) in Laman Street, Cooks Hill. The site was located in a heritage conservation area and was strongly opposed by local residents. The proposal was considered by the Newcastle Urban Design Consultative Group (UDCG) on several occasions. Newcastle City Council has now approved the DA.
Our services included writing the Statement of Environmental Effects, negotiations with Council and presentation at Council meeting.
An 8 storey mixed use development (ground floor commercial and 42 apartments) in Hannell Street, Wickham. The site was located in a heritage conservation area and adjacent to the new Wickham transport interchange. The proposal was considered by the Newcastle UDCG on several occasions. Newcastle City Council has now approved the DA.
Our services included writing the Statement of Environmental Effects, negotiations with Council and presentation at UDCG meetings.
A 4 storey mixed use development (ground floor commercial and 3 apartments) in Queen Street, Cooks Hill. The site was located in a heritage conservation area and had various constraints. The proposal was considered by the Newcastle UDCG. Newcastle City Council has now approved the DA.
Our services included providing input on the design of the development and writing the Statement of Environmental Effects.
A 3 storey mixed use development (ground floor commercial and 8 apartments) in Bonnells Bay, Lake Macquarie. The site is located in a commercial zone and has various constraints. Lake Macquarie City Council has approved the DA.
Our services included providing extensive input on the design of the development, pre-DA discussions with Lake Macquarie City Council and writing the Statement of Environmental Effects and Clause 4.6 Variation Request for height variation.
